Issue
Inputs and outputs of the FCU controller show incorrect values or cannot be correctly configured.
Possible causes and solutions
-
No possibility of changing an input type of SI1-SI3
-
The SI4 voltage input show an incorrect value
No possibility of changing an input type of S1-S3
It it not possible to configure the SI3 input of the iSMA-B-FCU-LL controller as a 0-10 V input. Despite setting this configuration on the input, the configuration keeps coming back to the thermistor measurement setting. However, the SI4 input work correctly as a voltage input. Each attempt of saving the voltage configuration for SI3 results in restoring the default thermistor configuration.
Solution
SI1-SI3 inputs are linked to the SI Type Int network variable, which makes it impossible to change the configuration from a higher level system. There are two possible ways to solve the problem:
-
Remove the link to the network variable - delete the link between the SI3 input and the SI Type Int variable, which enables to save a local configuration without resetting the setting.
-
Change the value in the NV component in SlaveNetwork - change the SI input type directly in the NV component in SlaveNetwork. It allows to save the SI3 configuration set from the network variable.
Both ways result in restoring the possibility of configuring the SI1-SI3 input as the 0-10 V voltage input without going back to the thermistor settings.
The SI4 voltage input show an incorrect value
Despite connecting a voltage sensor to the SI4 input and using the SIVoltage component, the voltage value is incorrect. The reason to this situation is that, in the default application, SI inputs are configured in the LocalIoConfig as Temperature 10K3A1.
Solution
Change the SI4 input type to Voltage Measurement.
