AAC20 - Application - Converting the application file from .sab to .sax

The article outlines how to convert the application file from an .sab extension to .sax. It is helpful in case of unexpected problems with uploading the .sab application file to the controller. The .sax file is freely editable in any text editor, which allows to analyze it with regard to any inconsistencies.

There are 2 methods of conversion:

First method

  • locate a sedonac file under this path:

C:\Users\[Username]\iC Tool.V1.5.0\iC Tool.V1.5.0\home\binaries

  • next, copy the application .sab file to the folder with the sedonac file:

  • drag the app.sab on the sedonac file

Second method

  • In the “cmd” window, type the path to the sedonac file:

“C:\Users\[Username]\iC Tool.V1.5.0\iC Tool.V1.5.0\home\binaries\sedonac”

  • Press Enter and see the available options:

  • To convert the app.sab to an app.sax, type the path to the sedonac file and the path to the application with .sab extension. After specifying the paths, press Enter.
