I/O Modules - iSMA Configurator - Problem with connection

Issue

There is no communication between an I/O module and iSMA Configurator over a USB cable connection. The module is not visible or the communication is interrupted.

Possible solutions

  1. Check if a proper software is used:

    1. iSMA Configurator for MINI, MIX, and MAX modules;

    2. SfAR Configurator for SfAR modules.

  2. Check if the LED and COMM diodes are lit on the module.

  3. Check if the communication bus is not busy with other modules.

  4. Check if the USB cable is not damaged (use another one and verify if the communication has started).
