Issue

Problem with editing an existing link between nano components using the Edit option.

Possible causes and solutions

Disabling the link using the Edit option does not work

When a user attempts to use the Edit option to disable the link between components under the ne2DeviceExt, it does not function as expected. Modifying the Enabled slot has no effect - the link still works.

Solution

Delete the link to disable it.

Editing link and changing slots to non-existing ones.

Using the Edit action on a link and changing its slot names to non-existent ones causes the link to disappear.

The next time the user tries to create a link, they encounter a Link Creation Error.

Solution

Do not change slot names to non existing ones.
