iSMA_IO - Installation on the MAC36NL controller

The article describes in a few steps how to correctly install the iSMA_IO module on the MAC36NL controller. Before following the instructions below, make sure that the necessary files for the driver are in the Workbench program. Downloading and installing these files is described in the document MAC36NL - Distribution Files - Downloading and installation. To install the module, follow these steps:

1. First, log in to the driver platform, go to the Software Manager and install the iSMA_IO-rt JAR module using the Install button; accept the changes with the Commit button.

2. After successful installation, log in to the station and go to /Config/Drivers.

3. In the Palette window, open the iSMA_IO module.

4. From the palette, add the iSMAIONetwork component to /Config/Drivers and double-click it.

5. Lastly, from the iSMA_IO palette, add the LocalIODevice component under iSMAIONetwork.

6. After completing the above steps, the controller will be ready to add and operate I/O components located on the device.
