MAC36NL - Niagara - No option to install the OS version discovered by the Software Installation

Issue

It is not possible to carry out a commissioning process on the iSMA-B-MAC36NL controller, meaning it is not possible to upgrade the Niagara version. The Software Installation commissioning creator discovers the iSMA-isma-os, but the Next button is grayed out, which disables commissioning continuing:

Possible Cause and Solution

Attempting to install the Niagara version supported by iSMA-B-MAC36PRO, not iSMA-B-MAC36NL

The described issue may occur when trying to install the Niagara version 4.10.6.18 on the iSMA-B-MAC36NL controller.

Solution

The 4.10.6.18 Niagara version is supported only on the iSMA-B-MAC36PRO. Niagara versions supported on both controllers are different and can be verified in the controllers' Release Notes: iSMA CONTROLLI Download Center. Out of 4.10 Niagara versions, only the 4.10.3.20 version is supported on the iSMA-B-MAC36NL controller.
