DNS

The DNS component allows to automatically obtain the addresses of DNS servers. In order for the addresses to be obtained automatically, the DHCP function in the Ethernet component has to be enabled. If the DHCP function is not enabled, the addresses of DNS servers have to entered manually.

The DNS component

The DNS component has the following slots:

• DNS Server 1: main DNS server address;

• DNS Server 2: fallback DNS server address;

• Obtain DNS Server Address Automatically: enables or disables obtaining DNS addresses automatically.

Note: In order for the Obtain DNS Server Address Automatically to be editable (true/false), the DHCP function in the Ethernet component has to be enabled.
