Note: the .NET Framework may not appear in the list of installed software on Windows 10, as it is already installed by default by the operating system.
Software Setup
This tool is supplied with a self-installing file: "EBV RS485 Configurator".
By starting the self-installing file, depending on the operating system, the user may be asked to give permissions to make changes to the device, press the "YES" button.
After the installation wizard, the software is ready for use.
USB-RS485 Serial Converter Installation
CONV-USB-RS485 is a USB to RS485 converter. This device has a transparent connector on the PC side that allows to check the connection to the USB port of the PC and the transmission and reception of data in progress.
From the side of the actuator, the wires to be used are only 3 of the 6 total that compose the cable, in particular:

ORANGE
-
YELLOW
-
BLACK (GND)
To use the device, it is necessary to install the driver located in the program folder installed through the setup (EBV RS485 Configurator). If required by the operating system, search for the driver by selecting the folder in which to search for it (select the Configurator folder: EBV RS485 Configurator\Driver).
