The Room Panel operates in 3 different modes:
- Active mode;
- Idle mode;
- Stand-by mode.
The differences between particular modes are physically visible when all the below conditions are fulfilled:
- Bit 11 of the DEVICE_CONFIGURATION register is true (panel is on).
- Bit 4 of the DEVICE_CONFIGURATION register is true (keypad illumination active).
- Bit 3 of the DEVICE_CONFIGURATION register is true (LCD illumination active).
- There are different values in the registers responsible for the illumination level of different modes (see the Device Configuration).
Each mode determines LCD and keypad background illumination intensity.
The actual room panel mode depends on the keypad activity (pushing buttons) and time values set by appropriate registers. The user can also control illumination intensity of each mode by entering appropriate values to assigned registers.
